BROKEN DOWN
Well my ankle is officially broken (hairline fracture right above the ankle on the tibia). I will be in a cast for 3 1/2 weeks. I got a pink cast so it would match most everything I wear, since I do wear a lot of pink. I have some good news though, I am able to walk on it after the weekend. I have this gorgeous sandal type thing to go over the cast that will allow me to walk. I hope people don't mind if I don't color coordinate (the shoe is black and I wear a lot of brown). Well I'll get a good picture of my cast and sandal this weekend and post it so you can all see what I am looking like now days

Here are the pictures of my ankle, for those of you interested. The 1st one is a comparison right after it happened ( I am not sure it really is noticeable), the 2nd one is the back view, and the 3rd is a view of my toes that have gone black (yes, I have been able to wash them, they aren't dirty). The last picture is just of me on my crutches with my splint. I look so good don't I? j/k

I'M A CLUTZ!!
So for those of you who don't know I am on crutches. I sprained my ankle playing softball last week. I may have even broke it, I find out this Wednesday if it is broke for sure. If it is broke I will have to wear a cast for 3-4 weeks if it's not then I am not sure what will happen. I have been meaning to get a good picture of my ankle but I haven't had a chance yet. I hope to get that done tonight to let you all see what it looks like. Well I will keep you all posted on my progress after the doctors appointment on Wednesday.

FAMILY REUNION
This past weekend was my family's 6th annual family reunion!! We went to Aspen Acres campground and golf course, which is in Ashton, ID. My dad use to work up in the Ashton area in the summer during the late 80’s and early 90’s. When we were younger we would load up in the suburban and go visit him almost every weekend. It was fun to go back and remember the trips we use to take up there. We went golfing while we were there and we also went as a family to Cave Falls, which is in Yellowstone Park. We had fun skipping rocks and letting the kids play in the water (although I think me and MaCade got ate alive by the mosquitoes). This next year it will be me and MaCade's turn to decide where we will go for the reunion, I hope we choose some where just as fun as all the others have been.

TOURNAMENT WINNER
This is a picture of when MaCade entered a golf tournament at Skyway golf course last month that was in the Tremonton Leader. They made a miss print in the paper that said his team had won the tournament. MaCade said they were actually about 10 strokes behind the leader. We thought it was pretty funny.

ZION"S NATIONAL PARK
This past spring break MaCade and I went down to St. George and stayed with our friends Skylar and Cami. We went with them to Zion's National Park. We had a lot of fun looking at the beautiful scenery, although MaCade and I were a little out of shape for the one hike I decided. We then went down to Mesquite and stayed at the Casablanca hotel, but of course my camera batteries went dead and we couldn't get pictures of the golf course we were on. (I am horrible at charging the batteries and also even just tak
ing the camera)

A FINE YOUNG GRADUATE
We went with MaCade's family to one of our favorite resturants in Logan Firehouse Pizzeria. I was so glad that his family was able to make it. None of my family was able to attend because my cousins wedding was the same day in Dallas (Congrats to Josh & Sharon).
I just wanted to note that I am so proud of MaCade and his big accomplishment, he is a great husband!!

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
We have been married a little over 2 years now!! We have had a great time being newlyweds and getting to know each other more. MaCade just finished school this May and I have 1 year left WAHOO!!
We have stayed busy the last couple of years between school, work, and our short little surrounding area trips. With MaCade being graduated we are now ready to move on to bigger and better things. We hope to be joining the real world like everyone else by getting a home, car, and not working Saturdays, so we can go on weekend camping trips and be able to actually have a day off together!! (MaCade is also excited to have Saturdays off so he can start up duck hunting again.)

NEW TO BLOGGER!!

I've been watching my friends do their blog pages for a year now and I thought it was about time I got in on the fun. I felt this would be a good way to keep people informed on how MaCade and I are doing and the changes that take place in our lives. I hope you find this blog page as fun and entertaining as I do creating it.
