Family Update, but mostly Em

We had the 9th annual Rick Kent reunion at Bear Lake this year. It was so much fun. My sister Becki was in charge and did a wonderful job. We have been extremely busy this summer with many different activities, reunions, Disneyland, camping, and my softball. The days just seem to fly bye.

MaCade just changed his office location this month. It is still in Brigham City just further north and right of main street. We had to do some major work to get the office in working condition, but now it is all done it looks pretty good. He has been staying busy with work and hasn't had much time this summer for golf. He is looking forward to hunting season this year and I am sure will take plenty of time off for that.

I am staying busy at home with the two kids. I started softball back in June and love playing each week. The kids and I also stay busy going to Fielding to visit family during the week.

Emry is almost 3 years old, but acts much older. She loves to pretend and has an imaginary friend named CeCe. She loves to be outside riding her trike, scooter, or car. She loves to play in the water, whether it is in a pool or the sprinkler. She is a great helper with Asher too. She is fully potty trained now which means she is ready for preschool and dance. She is so excited for that too start in August.

As for Asher, see a couple post below for his 5 month update.

Emry and her play phones. She has about 7 or 8 and wanted all of them in her pockets she said. She also put on her own lip gloss. This kid has quite the imagination.
Em came out after only napping a short time and laid down at the top of the stairs and fell asleep for another hour. Not sure what her deal was this day.

Disneyland with Emry

On June 16th Daddy, Emry, and I went to Disneyland and left little Asher home with Grandma and Grandpa Lamb. We had so much fun. Emry loved getting her picture with the characters more then anything. She thought it was awesome that Disneyland was in our back yard. She would look out the hotel window every morning and was so excited it was still there. She loved to ride the Hot Chocolate Cups and all the rides in a "Bug's Life" I was nervous taking her for fear she was too young, but she loved it! We hope to go again when brother gets a little older.

Asher 5 Months

Asher turned 5 months on July 2. He is such happy baby.He lasted on cereal about 1.5 weeks and was ready for more solids. He loves his fruits and veggies and would much rather those then nursing. He eats 3 meals a day now. He is only waking up usually once a night, except for the last couple because I think he is teething. He loves his toy bar and turns it every direction. He rolled over on June 15 and has pretty much perfected it now. His little body is always moving. His right arm is always in constant motion. He loves to be outside and look around. This weekend we tried him in the stroller without the car seat and he loved it. He loves to grab your face and give you kisses. He is like Emry when it comes to crowds and noise at this age they both get fussy. He loves to pull his toes up and try to eat them while laying down.
