Finally, A Place of Our Own

So I finally found the cord to my camera so now everyone, not that there is a lot of you, can see what my house looks like. I realized when I was uploading them that the pictures aren't all that great. We didn't have that much stuff on the walls, just the furniture moved in at the time. Last night my mom came over and we hung a few things on the walls downstairs. I finally feel that it is actually looking like a home now. I hope after I go shopping this weekend to Taipan that I can be done for awhile with the decorating.

Quick update

So I took pictures and brought my camera to work and my new computer doesn't have the memory card slots and I can't find my computer cord. So once again no pictures. Although, most people interested in seeing my house have made the venture over. I hope to find my cord soon because I won't be getting the internet at home, it is one less cost for us. And I realized as I looked at other blogs this morning that blogs without pictures just don't keep my attention. That is probably what most people are interested in is the pictures.

Well my grocery smarts class went well. I think everyone that came thought it was great information and want to try it out. I am dang excited about saving money on my grocery bill.

I am so excited for the fall weather. I was thinking today that we should drive up the canyon and see if many of the leaves have started changing. I also thought it sounded fun to get one last camping trip in before the snow comes but, I am afraid where we only own a tent it may be a little too chilly at night.

The House & Grocery Smarts

So we closed on our house last week and have been getting everything moved in. I am amazed at how much room we actually have now. It is so nice. I will post pictures soon. I just haven't had time to stop and take pictures yet.
I don't know if any of you have heard of Grocery Smarts, but it is this neat website that teaches you how to use coupons and save tons of money each month. I decided to look into the website and there is a lady that offers to come and teach a free class for those interested in learning how to use coupons effectively. So I signed up to have a class.
