Em's 2nd Birthday Party

We had a Sesame Street themed birthday party for Emry this year. I had a lot of fun making all the decorations for the party. Emry loves Sesame Street and knows about every character on the show, so I thought what better way to celebrate then with her favorite characters.

Sorry these aren't in any order just how they came up.

Box Elder County Fair

One of my favorite times of year is the Box Elder County Fair. I can't remember a year my family never went and was not involved in the fair. MaCade isn't as hip on the fair, but I think Emry may have changed his mind this year. She loved the fair. She loved the rides, the dancing, and the animals.

Dancing the night away at the bandstand.

Em at 2

Em has turned 2 and is such a big girl. Here are a few things Em loves and does.
- She has a great vocabulary and is starting to speak in sentences now.
- She loves to play outside and go to the park.
- She loves animals. We go to Willow Park about once a week to see the monkeys and feed the ducks.
- She loves to help us cook, pick vegetables from the garden, clean the house, and fold the laundry.
- She loves to play with her babies and talk on her play phone.
- She still loves music and loves to dance and sing. She sings at church each week sometimes even when it isn't time. I have decided to just let her do it. Her singing is much quieter then her screaming.
- She still isn't very good and sharing and can sometimes be a bully. I think some days it is getting better.
- She is pretty stubborn and will not let me put her on the potty. I figure this fall/winter will be the time to do that when we are staying home.
- She loves to ride in the boat and watch daddy water ski.
Overall Emry is turning into such a big girl. I just hope when baby boy gets here she is a big helper and likes him as much as she likes little babies that we see.

This was what she wanted to wear to play ball with mom. Baby legs were soccer socks, her tutu, and winter boot slippers were her ball team shoes. Creative mind don't ya think.

Helping daddy cook pakes (pancakes). She loves to help make pancakes and know most of the ingredients that goes in them. She reminds her dad when he forgets any ingredient.

baby #2

So yesterday was our 20 week appointment and time to find out what baby #2 will be. I have thought it was a boy because this pregnancy has been a little bit different then the first. MaCade has thought it was a girl because his family only has one boy grandchild in there family and he thought for sure there was no way we could have a boy. Well after going to the doctor and seeing the ultrasound the results are in and we are having a.........BOY!! We couldn't be more excited. It is so cute to hear Emry say she is going to have a baby brother. I am sure she doesn't even grasp what that means, but it is still cute to hear her say it. Now onto shopping for boy items.
