Well I am 5 days past due and still no sign of the baby! We have been patiently waiting for her to arrive and now my doctor has told me she will start me tomorrow night! I haven't really had any complaints for the last stretch of the pregnancy other than I haven't been able to sleep for about the last 5 nights. Which makes me tired and ready for baby to arrive.

Here I am at 40 weeks pregnant!

We have got so much accomplished at home though in the last couple of weeks. We finished laying the rest of our sod. MaCade also mapped out our garden area with railroad ties and we put in a sandbox. We have had a couple people wonder why we needed a sandbox, we really don't we just want to have the yard all complete rather than having to pull up grass and sprinklers later on. Our next project is getting a shed! I am excited for this because our garage seems to be getting overloaded with odds and ends.

I have been waiting and waiting for the nesting stage to hit me and for some reason I don't really think it has. I did however clean my house and mow the lawn last Saturday in hopes it would help the baby want to arrive sooner. No such luck though =(

Well next time I post we will hopefully have a new cute bundle of joy to write about.

The Nursery

Here are the pictures I promised of the baby's room. I am getting so excited for her to arrive. I am afraid that I may go over though. I can't believe we only have a week and half left until her expected due date. Everyone keeps asking me how I feel and I feel great. I really have no complaints. My pregnancy has been pretty easy.

We decided not to paint the room because we have only been in the house for one year and I am not a big fan of painting anyways. So we just put up some vinyl polka dots and flowers. I think they turned out really cute. My sister Becki helped me decorate. I still have a couple little things to put up. On the shelf we are going to have her name in wooden block letters and also I have a couple of wall hangings to hang on either side of the shelf too.

Baby Shower

Saturday my mom, all my sisters, and sister-in-laws put together a baby shower for me. We had a great turn out and we got so many great things! We got a ton of clothes and blankets for our little girl, with a few other things in between! I was so happy to see so many friends & family come! Of course I took my camera, but never really took too many pictures.

And here I am at 37 weeks pregnant. I pretty much have everything done in the baby's room except for a couple small details. I will post pictures soon. We are getting so excited for our little girl to come, we can hardly wait! I noticed this last week that I am in the nesting phase of the pregnancy, but I can't find the time to do everything I want to do. It seems like we are hardly ever home and when we are I want to just spend time with my hubby!

Last weekend we finally got our yard put in! It looks so good and I am excited to plant flowers, shrubs, and trees next spring! (pictures to come) We invited a bunch of friends and family over to help us and ended up having a few ward members stop by as well. The sod laying party went alot faster then MaCade and I thought thanks to all the help that came!
