8 months old

Emry is now eight months old in a couple of days and boy has she grown and changed over the last month. It amazes me how much a little child can change in one months time. In April Emry had the opportunity to go stay at Grandma and Grandpa Lambs house for one week while MaCade and I went with his company to Hawaii. I was surprised when I got home to see Em with a few new teeth and a couple new tricks up her sleeve. It was a great vacation for MaCade and I, but we were both ready to come home by about the 5th day. Emry did great while we were gone and kept grandma and grandpa busier then ever with her nightly awakenings and always wanting some one to play with.

Before we left we had our annual Easter cookout with my dad's side of the family. We had to move it indoors due to the weather, but it still turned out great and we all had an enjoyable time. Although I didn't get any good pictures I was too busy with Em.

Emry's Stats at eight months old.
- She now has 5 teeth she cut 3 teeth in the last month 2 on top and another one on bottom.
- She is very vocal and loves to talk when it is really quiet.
- She loves music and now it seems that she is trying to sing along with the songs.
- She learned patty cake while we were gone and gets so excited to clap her hands.
- She rolls around to get where she wants to go. Still no crawling, but she can still usually get to what she wants.
- She loves to be outside and she loves the grass and tries to eat it and won't stay on her blanket.
- She has grown a little more hair and mom can now do a little spikey hairdo.

6 Month Photo Shoot

Here are some of my favorite photos I had taken of Em at 6 months and now she is almost 8 months. I am horrible at posting. I haven't been able to get my computer to upload pictures and it is taking forever. So more updates to come later.

7 Months

Well I can't believe our little girl is about to the age where they start crawling and getting into everything. She is trying so hard to figure out the whole crawling bit, but just can't quite get there yet. She is so independent and loves to sit and play with her toys. We have made some minor progress in the sleeping over the last week and half she is only waking up two times a night which is something I can definitely handle.
At seven months of age here are a few things every loves and does.

- She loves to try new foods. We have been working on eating small finger foods. She loves cucumbers, strawberries, bananas, Gerber Puffs, yogurt bites, asparagus, teething biscuits, and anything we are eating!
- She has started going from the sitting position to the crawling position, but then she can't figure out how to move so she falls flat on her belly.
- She loves music and has loved dancing with mommy! Don't mind the video.
- She started saying da da da.
- She loves to read books and especially the ones with textures.
- She has become a little attached to mommy. Which I don't mind most of the time.
- She loves to be outside and has loved going on stroller rides.
- She has started to like people more which has been great when going to family functions.
- She loves to brush her teeth, the dentist warned us that she would hate it, but she loves it.
- She loves to eat her socks and any kind of fabric. Forget the toys bring on the fabric!

Watching daddy hit the golf ball outside!
I was cutting up the asparagus for dinner and she grabbed a raw piece and started eating it and actually must have liked it a lot because she ate half the spear.

Brushing her teeth
Eating her books, some times much better then reading!
Just a cute outfit on a cute girl!
Trying on daddy's ear protection. I actually tried wearing these one night we had her cry it out we were taking shifts and this was our strategy. It worked some what, but I took them off after a couple hours and just listened to her.
Eating her sock. she looks like a doggy chewing on something.
One day we put her in bed with us and we thought this was so cute how she was sleeping.

Teething biscuits and the aftermath!
Dancing video, don't mind me in it! What you won't do to keep your child entertained.
