County Fair!!

This past week was the Box Elder County Fair! MaCade and I went and watched the concert on Monday night with my family, it was pretty fun! The concert featured Gentri Wilson, A blue grass band, & Kristin McNamara. It was very entertaining! Then on Wednesday we went to the fair parade and watched some of our nieces and nephews that were in it. We had a good time this year walking around the fair and seeing all the exhibits! MaCade decided that I am a fair junky because I love going almost every night and getting in on all the festivities! On Saturday while MaCade put our car back together I went and watched Connor, Markelle, Bailey, & Branson at the livestock sale. They all did very well. Saturday night we went with my family to the rodeo and watched Connor ride. Rod also rod in the Posse.

What A Weekend!!

Well this past weekend MaCade and I planned a nice close getaway in Park City. We left on Thursday night and stayed at my uncle's condo. On Friday we went to the Outlet Mall and did a little shopping. That night we went to Provo and had dinner with my cousins for Walter's graduation. We went and ate at Tucanos. It was fun to be with my cousins!(these 2 pictures are from Tucanos)That night we went back to the condo and were ready to spend the rest of the weekend doing just what ever caught our eye, but it turned out we weren't able to do that. Some time between 11:30pm Friday night and 10:00am Saturday morning our car got broke into and everything was stolen out of it. We even had left our clothes we bought at the outlet in the trunk (what a bummer, there were some cute items!). 2 of our car windows were broken in and shattered and the drivers side door handle was broken. It was the most horrible feeling to walk out and see our car all ruined! We couldn't even get the door to shut so we had to have Jed come haul the car home. I guess one good thing is that it was just our car that got ruined and nothing happened to me and Cade. It is hard to look at the positive out of the situation, but when you do you feel blessed for something worse not happening. ( I didn't take pictures until we got home so the car is on the trailer and all the glass from the windows has fallen into the car seat)

Softball Reserve Champs!!

So the Bear River ladies softball team I was on took second place. It was a long 3 days! We played a total of 7 games for the tournament!! Here is a picture of the team. MaCade was our coach and I think he is one of the reasons we did so well! I am on the bottom, 2nd in from the right (holding the trophy) and I think you can figure out which one is MaCade. Oh and Becki my sister was on the team too. She is on th back row 4th one in from the left.

Date Night

So last night MaCade and I decided it was time we went out on a real date other than just to grab some dinner. Although there is a catch on why we went, we had a gift card to the Iron Gate Grill and we got free movie passes. It was great to go out and only have to pay $6 for the meal and the movie! We loved our food at Iron Gate and the movie was Fantastic! We went and saw Bourne Ultimatium. We even had a coupon for ice cream, but decided we would save it for another night. I decided after last night that everyone should always try and go out on a real date every once in awhile.
