Update

So I am not very good at updating because of the lack of internet at home. Although I do take plenty of pictures of my tiny girl. I love watching her change each day. She is such a joy to have in our home. We took her to the doctor on September 4 for a one week check and she had gained weight and weighed 8.8 lbs. They had me get her undressed to put her on the scale and when I picked her up she peed all down the front of me. We just got the giggles and said it was part of being a mom. On Monday, September 14 we took her to her two week check and she weighed 9.3 lbs and was 21.5 inches long. She is above average in most categories for her age. I am so amazed at how well she is doing and love to see her grow each day. I have had so much fun staying home with her and can't believe how fast the time has flown.

One week old, she loves to hold in her binkie
This is her Sunday relaxing outfit to watch sports with daddy.
2 weeks oldHanging out with daddy. I decided I need to have MaCade take pictures with me in them.
Two weeks old and all dressed up to go see all her cousin friends.
Tubby time. She hasn't liked tubby time to much, but I think it was because we weren't getting the water the right temperature. All dressed up to go visit Grandpa and Grandma Lamb.Three weeks old. Hanging out at Grandma Lynn's house.

She's Here

Emry Beth Evans is here! What a neat experience it was to have our little girl enter into this world! She weighed a whopping 8 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches long. After being born she had to be sent off to the NICU. She was having a little bit of a tough time breathing because she had swallowed some meconium. She was put on oxygen and monitored over the next couple of days. She got a little bit of infection also and had to be on antibiotics. Before we came home they took her billiruben test and she had a bit of jaundice so she has had to spend a couple of days on the lights or as we like to call it her tanning bed. It was so hard to send her off with the nurses to the NICU because we only got to hold her for about 15 minutes before sending her off. We are just so glad that everything has turned out so good and she is doing so much better. We went to her one week appointment today and she has gained 2 oz and now has a clean bill of health.
