She's Here
Emry Beth Evans is here! What a neat experience it was to have our little girl enter into this world! She weighed a whopping 8 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches long. After being born she had to be sent off to the NICU. She was having a little bit of a tough time breathing because she had swallowed some meconium. She was put on oxygen and monitored over the next couple of days. She got a little bit of infection also and had to be on antibiotics. Before we came home they took her billiruben test and she had a bit of jaundice so she has had to spend a couple of days on the lights or as we like to call it her tanning bed. It was so hard to send her off with the nurses to the NICU because we only got to hold her for about 15 minutes before sending her off. We are just so glad that everything has turned out so good and she is doing so much better. We went to her one week appointment today and she has gained 2 oz and now has a clean bill of health.

She's SO cute! Maddie was close to the same size. Just 3 oz. less, but the same length. I love when they come out kind of chubby! They're so much cuter! CONGRATS!

I am so glad she is doing good and that everything is well. She is adorable...I still can't believe we are mom's (well soon to be for me, not just yet). I can't wait to see her in person! Take Care;)

Maggie can't get enough of Emry's pictures. She keeps asking me to pull them up so she can see her "cousin friend". I hope you both are getting more sleep!
