Asher Update

Asher is 4 months old and not too much has changed. He loves to grab his toes when he is laying down. He has started holding toys and playing with them a little bit. He loves to stand up and be able to look around. He started cereal at night and seems to be doing pretty good with it.

Misc. Happenings

We went on our first camping trip of the season the weekend before Memorial Day and we had a great time. Em loves camping and had so much fun swimming at the pool. She would not keep her shoes on at all she it a Huck Finn type of girl as her daddy says. Asher did very well camping and slept the best he probably has ever slept. I told Cade maybe we should go camping all the time. Below are the pictures from our camping trip.

Mother's Day was spent over at my mom and dad's house. Cade's mom was in St. George. We had a BBQ planned by my dad. He assigned all the men in the family to make or bring some food. I was a little nervous if it would turn out but sure enough it did.
Below is a picture of my mom. I love this lady so much. She truly is one of my best friends. I am so grateful for her example to all of us. She really amazes me in everything she does for everyone. I am not sure how she ever finds time to her self. I sure love you mom and thanks for making our lives wonderful. The next picture is of all the girls in my side of the family. Dad gave us all a crown and a flower. He told us we were all queens in his eyes! Thanks dad!

MaCade purchased a wild turkey tag this season and got his very first turkey. He was so excited and so was Emry. We had heard that wild turkey was not the best tasting, but much to everyone's talk we loved it. Emry thought it tasted like chicken. Here is Cade with his first turkey!

Emry Update

Emry is growing up more and more each day. Every day I look at her I think where has my little baby girl gone. She loves to help out around the house. On cleaning days she loves to help me clean the toilets, fold the laundry, and just about every day you can bet she will want to wash the dishes. She loves to pretend she is talking on the phone to her friends. She has had a couple imaginary friends the past month or so. It is fun to watch her play and create her own fun. 

She got potty trained finally and what a joy that is on mommy and daddy. On Tuesday May 29 I ran out of diapers and decided I would give it a try. She had accidents all day. I was about to give in the towel until daddy came home. She asked Cade if she would need to get rid of her binky too and he told her no and from that moment on she has gone on the toilet. I love it, although I get nervous to run errands for fear we will have to run to the potty. 

Emry loves Asher and is such a great big sister. She always wants to hold him and give him toys to play with. She has loved the warm weather and loves to be outside playing.
