tAg YoU'rE iT!

I've been tagged by my sister Mandi

5 things I am addicted to.......

1. BLOGS: I love to see what people are up to! I am a true blog stalker! When I have nothing going on at work I always kill time looking at blogs. I love to see what people from my hometown are doing now days as well as my friends I don't see that often!

2. TREATS: I love all sorts of treats and sweets! I am like my sister I can't go a day without at least having a sweet. I always like to end a meal with some type of treat! I mostly love gummy candy! I have been trying not to eat as much sweets lately, but man it is hard to eat healthy.

3. SPORTS: I can't get enough of playing and watching sports! I hate to exercise unless I am playing some type of sport! I am very competitive and love to WIN! My favorite sports are soccer and softball. It's a good thing I like to watch sports too, because that is about all we watch at our house!

4. MEDICAL SHOWS: I am so addicted to Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and ER! If I miss an episode I will make sure I either record it or watch it on the internet! I don't know what it is about these medical shows, but they sure are addicting!

5. SHOPPING: I love to go window shopping on the weekend with MaCade! We always just go browse the mall, sports stores, and Kohls to see if there are any great deals! I am also now addicted to coupon shopping for groceries and household items! I love it! It is like a game for me. It is so much fun to go and see the amount of money I save!

I tag....

Anybody that hasn't done it and would like to do it!

Happy Birthday Mom

We celebrated my mom's birthday on Sunday. Becki made the cake and only had enough frosting to write Mom, so we took a #1 candle and put by it. We said she was the #1 Mom to all of us! I just want to let my mom know how much I love her. She is such a great example to us all. I look back over the years at all the many things she did for us growing up and still does for us and I don't know where I would be without her example in my life. My mom is so well rounded she knows so much about the gospel, can do any fix it work herself, plants a great garden, and most of all is so loving to her whole family! We love you Mom and hope you had a great Birthday!

New Years

This year for New Years I thought it would be fun to have everyone over to our house for the celebration. We had everyone bring a snack to share and then mom and dad bought stuff to make sandwiches. I used our chocolate fountain which was fun to pull out over the holidays. After we ate we all headed upstairs and played games. We played Rockband for hours and my whole family loved it. It was fun to see even my parents try it out! The kids had fun playing with Cade's basketball double shot and different games Aunt B had brought. When it was time for the new year to ring in we all headed downstairs to make a toast with many different flavors of sparkling cider. I had bought 8 different types of sparkling juices and by far the best kind is Martnellis original sparkling cider. There were some that tasted like you were drinking perfume.

Overall we had a great time celebrating the New Year with my side of the family. As I look back on the many things we have accomplished this year I am sad to see it go, but know that 2009 will probably bring us many more accomplishments as well.
