Jackson Hole

We finally ventured out of Logan and took a little weekend vacation. We went and stayed up in Jackson Hole with some friends. Our friends had a condo that we could stay in for free. We had fun staying up late visiting and playing games. MaCade and I had never been there together. I couldn't even remember Jackson that well, I think the last time I went was when I was 13 or 14. We walked around town and browsed all the little shops. On Saturday afternoon we went to the elk refuge and rode a sleigh around to see all the elk. We had fun getting so close to the elk. On Sunday we ended up having to leave earlier than planned. It had snowed six inches from 7am to 10am. The roads were horrible on our way home, but we made it home all in one piece.

Anniversary!!

This past Tuesday MaCade and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. He planned out our night for us. We had such a great time! We went to dinner at the Coppermill, which was very yummy. Then he took us up to the Logan temple where he had proposed and we had a little photo shoot while we were there. After that we went and got ice cream at Charlies. I just want to tell my husband thanks for a wonderful evening!! I sure do love ya!!

Our Weekend

This past weekend we went to SLC and stayed over night at the Marriott. We had a great time, we went and saw the movie Juno. I thought it was slow at first, but as it went on it became a pretty funny movie. MaCade liked it much better than I did. On Saturday was my niece's baptism. We took a few pictures of all us sisters that day. Grandma K. wanted to get in a picture as well, she is such a cute Grandma. For some reason we didn't get my mom in on the pictures and in the one with all of us we are missing a couple too. I can't believe how big my side of the family is. I love it! We have so much fun when we all get together for special occasions. On Sunday we were suppose to go to our other niece's baby blessing but church got cancelled. We stayed home and enjoyed the nice warmth of our home. That night we ventured out and went and watched the SuperBowl with some friends. We had a great time, but as always I hardly ever remember to take pictures, so you just have to read about what we do.
And as for this week, I am living a widowed life, my husband is gone to Iowa for work. I of course, especially after having our house broke into, do not stay alone. So I have been venturing over the mountain every morning and night to stay with my family. I am sure glad they live so close. Even though I have to admit I do get nervous staying alone, I also get way too bored. I have to always be doing something and after sitting at work all day who wants to go sit at home alone. I would much rather sit at my mom's house visiting and enjoying some company.
