This past weekend we traveled down to Blanding Utah. While we were there we had a picnic & camp fire with friends, saw some indian ruins, and went to Arches National Park. We were able to see Delicate Arch which is the arch Utah uses on its license plates. It was a quick trip, but we sure had a good time and are glad we were able to pass through the eastern side of Utah. Now the only National Park MaCade and I have not seen is the Grand Canyon.

20 Weeks

I thought I would let those of you who don't see me that often see how big I am getting. I am now 20 weeks and finally feel like I don't just look chunky. I have decided the first part of pregnancy is kind of rough. I was sick the first 8-12 weeks. Then from 12 -18 weeks I looked like I was eating too many sweets. Finally at about 20 weeks I feel like I am starting to show. Although now I am in between fitting in my regular clothes and maternity clothes. I have been trying not to buy maternity clothes until the weather warms up so I only have to buy clothes for one season. After looking at the forecast I think now the weather is finally going to allow winter to be over, Wahoo!

Twin Falls

Saturday my little brother Connor was in the Regional College Finals Rodeo, so my parents invited the whole family up to watch him and spend the night. When we arrived MaCade went golfing with a friend of his from Twin Falls. While he was golfing my mom and I went shopping. I found some crib bedding for the baby's room. I am so excited I think it is really cute. I can't wait to put the room all together. I will post pictures once I get the crib up. Later that night we went to the rodeo and watched Connor. He ended up taking 2nd in the round, but he won the Rocky Mountain Region in bareback. It was fun to be there and watch him win the trophy (saddle). Congrats Connor!

It's a.......

We are happy to announce that we are having a little baby GIRL!!!!!!! I thought for sure when we got into the ultrasound that it was going to be a boy, but MaCade he said the minute the tech started the ultrasound he knew it was a girl and of course he was right! We are so excited! I can't wait to start the shopping! Although I wanted to go out tonight and celebrate and buy a cute little outfit, but MaCade has to work late. So I guess we will postpone the celebration until tomorrow night.

I have a hard time reading ultrasounds so the tech had to point it out to me! We tried to get a cute little face shot, but she was too shy for the camera. She kept putting her hands over her face it was so cute!
So here is a cute little side view of our baby girl!

Texas Cousins

Yesterday my cousin Lynsi and her husband Walter came into town. They moved back to Texas a little over a year ago. It was so good to see the two of them. We had a little get together at my mom's house and for once I remembered my camera.

Me, Lynsi, Brittani, Mandi

Walter, My Mom, Lynsi
And of course cute little Sydnee wanted her picture too.
Before the get together at my mom's house MaCade and I went to lunch with them. We went to Firehouse Pizzeria. Macade, Brittani, and I all ordered a salad with house dressing. Well we all knew it was great dressing so we just dumped it all over our salad. As we all took our first bite we realized it didn't taste like it normally did. I thought it was way too salty, it burnt going down. Well MaCade thinks I am too picky and told me I just needed to eat it and not complain. As we kept trying to eat our salad I decided I wasn't going to eat any more. So when our waitress came back to the table I informed her that the salad dressing was extremely salty. So she went and notified the manager and they tasted the dressing themselves and realized when the dressing was made who ever made it used salt instead of sugar. So I was not being too picky, I knew it didn't taste right!
