Pregnancy

Look below for a couple more posts about Emry!

Well I have about 1.5 weeks left until my due date and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby brother. Emry is getting more interested in when he is going to arrive. She told me she wants to help me changes his diapers and hold him. I said that would be great, but what would be even better is if she would go on the potty herself. She has no interest in going yet. My doctor has informed me that if my body is not ready I will have to go over a week just like I did with Emry. I am hoping for good news this week at the doctor. Here are a couple photos of me during the past few months.

Christmas

Christmas was so much fun this year. Em had a fun time opening all her presents and playing with all her toys. She was so funny about a month before Christmas we asked her what she wanted and she started telling everyone she wanted a green bucket. We weren't sure where she got that from, but eventually she told us she wanted a green bucket like her cousin Clancy's dog's bucket. She got her green bucket and plenty of other things to go with it.
Coming down the stairs Christmas morning.
Opening a present from mom and dad
She got her very own guitar like Papa Jed.
She got a baby with a carrier and then mommy made her a diaper bag with all the essentials in it.
 Changing her baby's bum
Our little dancer. She got a tutu.
Christmas Eve we always do the nativity at my parent's house. Emry was a lamb again this year with her cousin Zackery.
 The cute little lambies.

Emry over the past 2 months

Well I am horrible at blogging anymore. I have been trying to do many other things over the past couple of months to get ready for the addition to our little family. Emry is full of life and is providing us with great entertainment. She loves to sing, read books, play with her dolls, and pretend she is a cowboy like Woody off of Toy Story. She has become so much more independent and will actually play by herself a lot more. Which has been very nice. She has been learning her colors and has no interest in learning numbers or letters, no matter how hard I try. She has also become a little social butterfly and loves to talk to everybody and ask them lots of questions. Also a major milestone yesterday was she finally stayed in nursery all by herself after almost being in there one full year. Hopefully she will continue to want to go after baby brother gets here. Here are some random pictures over the past couple of months in no particular order.

Playing cowboy with daddy.
 Trying on mommy's swimming suit.
Being a big helper and empty out the pantry.
 Helping push the snow.
Snowball fight
  Riding in her car
Uncle John and Dani with Em.
 Helping mommy clean the toilets.
Playing with her babies
Thanksgiving and helping grandma get the veggie tray ready.

The first of January we went to Hardware Ranch. Emry had so much fun and we couldn't leave home with out her "Cowboy" meaning her hat.
