Cake

So for our friend's little girls 1st birthday party, Her mom and I made her cake. It was a costume/Halloween themed party. It turned out so cute and I was really impressed with our skills. I will say colored fondant is a lot harder to make look smooth. The top layer is a butter cream layer so it would make a bigger mess for her little girl. don't judge us on our smoothness, this is only my second fondant cake.

 

Halloween

Emry was a little witch for Halloween this year. It was so much fun. She never even bothered her hat and loved to play with her little broom. This year for Halloween we went over to a little rodeo my Brother's and Dad put on. It was called Spooks and Spurs. You were suppose to dress up to get in, but we just dressed up Emry. Connor was the announcer and did a great job, Sunni manned the music, my dad was the cook, and the rest of us mostly just hung out. Caleb talked Julie into dressing up and they were an old couple. They looked so good! Emry loves music and loves to dance. She danced the whole entire time we were there with Adeline. After we were done with the rodeo we went trick or treating to all the grandparents. My Grandma Kent does chili and sugar cookies every year so we hung out there most of the night. I love all the little traditions we have in our family.

Update & Picture Overload

So this update is long overdue. I try to update once a month with all of Emry's stats, but I just have been finding many other things to do during her naps and try to spend time with MaCade after she goes to bed. So sorry for the long line of photo's.

Over the last two months Emry has made some accomplishments.

- She knows where her eyes, ears, nose, and toes are.

- She says Nose, Toe, Shoe, Cracker, Yeah, Ball, Book, Bum, Grandma, and Grandpa

- She has learned to feed herself and will not let us help her anymore at all, which makes for major messes.

- Makes the following animal sounds, Horse, Duck, Dog, Dinosar, Cow, and Pig

- Loves to help her daddy outside and in the garage.

- She is really into music with beats and loves to dance and sing.

- Has 12 teeth and is getting one eye tooth.

- Went to the dentist for her first time.

- Loves to blow her nose or at least pretend she is blowing it.

Over the last couple of months I can't believe how much older Emry seems. MaCade and I comment to each other all the time where did our little baby go. Below is a bunch of pictures over the last couple of months in no particular order.
