This and That

I finally took Emry to her 2 year appointment. Of course like I thought she is at the top of the charts for height and weight. She is such a big girl. She weighs 33lbs (96%) and is 36.25 inches tall (93%). I knew she was tall but not that tall. The doctor informed me that it was time to cut back on the whole milk. She didn't need it any more where she is so big. We have been busy getting lots of time in at the parks lately before it gets too cold. I am a little nervous for winter, as Em loves to be outside. Here are some pictures as of lately.

We took Em down to Jim's pumpkin patch (our neighbor) and let her pick out a couple of pumpkins. All the ones in the patch were too big so she decided to go get some tiny ones that were in the box. She loved it and cried because she didn't want to leave. 

St. George & Vegas

The end of September MaCade had some work meetings in Las Vegas so we made a vacation out of it and went and saw grandma and grandpa. Emry had such a fun time. We took her fishing which lasted about an hour after that she was ready to get off the boat. She caught her very first fish with daddy though and thought it was really neat. We also decided to go to Vegas with Cade. Emry loved it. They had different characters outside the hotels waving at the kids as they walked by. She saw Mickey, Buzz, Woody, and Winnie the Pooh. She still talks about "her hotel" and seeing the characters.

Another Birthday Cake

September we celebrated Newlin's little boy Lance's birthday. I made him a Bear River football cake. This was his first year playing football and I think he really liked it.
