Emry's busy weekend

So last weekend before I started back to work we headed down to Layton for a night away. It was the Farm Bureau banquet and we took Em along. She did great. On Saturday we headed down to Saratoga Springs to meet Carrie and Cornell's newest addition to their family Amelia. We forgot to take pictures until we had Em all loaded up and ready to go home. I could not believe how small Amelia was and I felt like I couldn't even remember Emry being such a tiny little thing.

St. George

The first week in November we went down to St. George with MaCade's mom and Jed. Emry did great in the car. We traveled later in the evening so it wouldn't mess her up too much with sleeping. We mostly just relaxed and had a great time. MaCade and I were able to get a golf game in on while we were there too. Em loved going shopping. She slept everytime we went. Paula and Jed's place has a community pool, we took Emry down to the pool because we thought she would love it where she loves her tubby so much. It didn't turn out to be as fun as tubby time to her, but she still enjoyed it. She loved being outside and it was great to be able to let her breathe in the air and look at all the bright colors outside.

The November Happenings of Em

So this month has been a fun month for me. Emry has changed so much between 2 months and 3 months of age. At Em's two month check she weighed 12.5 lbs and was 23 inches long. She is in the 80th percentile for weight and height. Here are a few things I have noticed over the last month about Em.

- She has started talking a lot more, and loves it when you talk back.
- She can see us from a short distance.
- She loves to sit up and has enjoyed her bumbo and exersaucer.
- She has found her hands and will not keep them out of her mouth.
- She loves toys that make noise.
- She loves to roll from her back to her side
- She loves to stick out her tongue

The biggest and most latest thing is this morning she rolled over from her belly to her back. I was so excited that I tried to have her do it again for daddy, but of course she didn't want to do it for an audience.

Trying to capture her sticking out her tongue

Playing in her Exersaucer
Bumbo Time! She absolutely loves sitting in this more and more each day. Give her some toys and she is happy. I think she looks like such a big girl in this picture.

Blessing Day

On November 1st Emry was given a name and a blessing. Her daddy did such a great job. I was nervous if Emry would be good during her blessing and she did great too! We had lots of family come and celebrate her special day with us. Grandpa Rick, Grandpa Udy, Caleb, Newlin, Connor, James, Rod, Grandpa Jack, Chris, and Nate all stood in the circle. After her blessing we all headed over to the Fielding town hall to have lunch. We had it over there because Nibley doesn't have a place to accomidate 60 people.

Emry all ready for her special day! My cousin Cami made her cute bow. We love all the bows Cami has made for her, although daddy thinks the bows are too big for our tiny girl!

Below is a slide show of the dinner afterwards. What great family MaCade and I have. We appreciate everyone who came that day.

Halloween and Talking

For Halloween I wanted Emry to be a little ducky. I was so excited when I found this cute little costume at Kohls. Emry would always squeak when she was little so I thought it would be perfect for her to be a ducky. I had my friend Jenni help me put the cute purple bow on the costume. We took Em to Grandpa Udys, Grandma Kents, Grandpa & Grandma Lambs, and Grandpa & Grandma Ricks house. She was the cutest little ducky around.Emry with her cousin Dani on Halloween

Emry at 2 Months

Here is Emry at 2 Months old. I thought I would be so good at posting pictures, but Emry sure takes up a lot of my spare time. I wish I would have wrote down things as she has grown, but I haven't been that great. I hope to do better now I am back at work and have a little time here.

Here is Emry at 8 weeks old. We had to do some yard work before the weather started getting to where we couldn't do it any more. So we dressed Emry up in all of her warm clothes and took her out in her stroller. Daddy worked on his duck boat and Emry watched him as I mowed the lawn. She has loved being outside from the day she was born.

8 weeks old, I love this little sweater. It is her cousin Maggies.

Just hanging out on the couch with mommy.
Here is a video of her during tubby time. We thought we would put her little swimsuit on and let you all see how much she really loves her tubby. At eight weeks Emry really started to notice her hands. She has been sucking on them more and more every day since then.

Our Little Emry Girl

So I have the hardest time logging on and updating little Emry's life. We stay so busy taking care of our little pumpkin that I get the pictures taken, but never posted.

Here is Emry at 7 weeks old. She turned 7 weeks old the week the deer hunt open. We thought we better buy her a cute little camo outfit so she could be in the hunting spirit with her daddy. Our Friend Jenni gave us the cute little camo bow which matches perfectly.

After Emry turned 7 weeks we went and stayed with Grandma Lynn for three days while daddy was gone to Iowa and Grandpa Rick was out west for work. While there I attempted getting Emry to keep a smile for the camera. Then I caught her in deep thought while she was sleeping. And the last picture she is in an old sweat shirt of Connor's. She had a bit of an accident, poop everywhere the day we were going home and I didn't have any clothes left the change her into so this is what she wore home. I even took her into Macey's with this on because I had to get some milk. I just put a big pink bow on her head and thought it would be ok, she wouldn't be mistaken for a boy with a bow on. I wasn't about to go hoome get her out of the carseat change her and then get back in the car. So we made due with what we had at grandma's and in the diaper bag.
