Reunion Fun

This past weekend was my family's 7th annual reunion. I was in charge this year and we decided to go up to Lava, ID. I booked the campground in March and had no idea how it was going to be. It turned out to be a great location and lots of shade. Our spot was even next to the river which was nice for the kids to play in. We rented tubes and floated the river on Saturday, the kids made the cutest craft, and then we had a band competition Saturday night. Of course none of the guys wanted to compete but those of us that did sure had fun, we used the dock as our stage. The little kids loved it and used spoons as microphones.

I love getting together with family, that is where the best memories are created. I am so glad my dad decided to start this reunion, it has been some fun times! Whether we camp in my parent's back yard, go to Hoogle Zoo, Bear Lake, or Lava we seem to always have a great time together no matter where we are.

In other exciting news we have bought a home. It is in the process of getting built, it should be finished in September. We are so excited and can't wait to finally have a place of our own.
