The house is a little behind now and hopefully we will be able to move in the first part of September. It has been so much fun building a house and picking out our paint, flooring, cabinents, appliances, etc... We have mostly agreed on everything that we pick out. I haven't taken any pictures this month, but we now have doors, windows, interior doors, and it is mud and taped. MaCade and his friend Joel put in the tile this past weekend and this weekend they will work on the hardwood flooring. I told Joel we owe him and his wife big time not just for his labor, but the fact that we keep pulling him away from his wife and kids.
Other updates are last weekend we sold our apartment contract and so until the house is done we moved in with our parents. It has been nice being home with family, but at the same time I have learned why it is so nice to have your own place.
Last week we also won the Bear River Ladies Softball League Championship!!! We were so excited because ever since MaCade has coached us we have placed 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and now 1st!! We were dying to win, because it seemed like every year we lost to the same team and for once we were the Champions! We had to come back up through the loosers bracket so the final night we played 3 games and had to play the #1 team in the tournament twice, it was a long night and boy after the 3 day tournament I was so sore. I love having MaCade as our coach!! He really pushes us all to our limit and really wants us to improve each game.
So next week is the BEC Fair and Rodeo, this year my sister and I took it upon ourselves to be the Fair Parade Directors and we definetly did not know what we were getting into. It is a lot of work to organize a parade. The parade is this Wednesday and with our committee of volunteers I think we can pull it off. So those of you from BEC let me know if the parade was good or not and maybe what we could do to improve it next year.
Also one last piece of good news, I got a new job!! I am so excited I will still be working at the University, but I will actually be able to use a little bit of my degree with my new position. I am so excited and can't wait to start. I start on Sept. 2nd. It seems like everything exciting is coming all at once between the house and the new job. We have been so greatful for all the life changes that have taken place over the last year and hope that there are more to come.

Hi Jackie, You guys look like you are having so much fun with a new house coming and all. I just had to tell you great job on winning the Championship. I really wish so bad I could of been on the team with all of you. I watched a few games and it killed me to not be out there. Oh well maybe next year!!
