Emry over the last month

So don't mind the major picture overload. I am so horrible at getting them on the computer. I hope that I can really start working on her baby book and that it won't be too much trouble to remember things. I have been writing some of the major milestones down in a book. She is already 6 months old. I can't believe it and I haven't even started her book. I am horrible.

At Em's 6 month check she weighed 18.5 lbs (91 percentile) and was 27.5 inches tall (96 percentile) She is a big girl and is growing like a weed.

Here are a few stats about Em at 6 months old

- She loves to play in the tub with her toys and sit up like a big girl.
- She hates to lay down and loves to sit up so she can see what is going on.
- She started holding her own bottle
- She has started eating a few finger foods, but can't quite figure out how to get them in her mouth so mommy or daddy has to help.
- She has started reaching for mommy and daddy
- She loves, loves, loves music.
- She has great hand, eye coordination and loves to pick up anything in her sight.
-She loves to give mommy slobbery kisses
- She get so excited when daddy gets home she kicks her feet and bounces.

Emry got a cold a couple of weeks ago and the sleeping went backwards again. So now we are back to square one with waking up 3-4 times a night. I have decided I am just not meant to sleep through the night yet. My body however is finally able to function on a little sleep, which is great. I don't look like death warmed over every day now. I always think each night before I go to bed that it is going to be the night she miracoulsly sleeps all night, but it never has happend. I'll keep waiting though. I know I need to have her cry it out again, but after doing that for 2.5 weeks and she still really wasn't sleeping through the night I just can't bare to do it again. I think she has a fear of missing out!

The pictures are the most recent to the oldest.

Emry eating lobster tail in the tubby.
Emry in the kitchen sink. It is deep enough that I can put her in there and cook dinner. It is the only way she stays happy while I do something.
Eating her cereal. She had it from head to toe and thought it was great!
Playing with her singing bear. She loves it! Music is how we keep her happy a lot of the time.
hanging out and grandma Lynn's house.
Emry and her cousin friend Clancy (Connor and Sunni's baby)! She was trying to give him a kiss I think!
Playing basketball with daddy. She loves to sit in here and watch daddy and mommy shoot some hoops. We hope this helps her like sports as much as we do.
This is a cute headband aunt B made for Em.
I put all these toys around her and she would much rather eat her sock. She loves fabric and material in her mouth.
A glance and Em's two front teeth!
A couple weeks ago my mom was babysitting Emry while I was at work and she couldn't get her to quit crying so she gave her a washcloth and turned on cartoons when I got home this is what I found, Em fast asleep! Whatever works right?
Holding her own bottle
Typing on the computer with daddy
Happy Valentines Day! This was Em's valentine outfit.

I love that headband her aunt B made her! She is so cute! I laughed at the wash cloth and cartoon situation. you are right-- "whatever works!" Go with it! :)
Try showing her these games next time she's at the computer. Kinda fun.
Fisherprice.com then click on games & activities, and then infant games. They have fun ones that all she does is hit the key board and something pops up and says "peek-a-boo"!
