18 Month Photo Shoot

Emry turned 18 months the end of February and while in St. George I tried my hand at taking a couple photos of her. We went to the St. George temple grounds. She was such a ham with all the people coming in an out of the temple. It was hard to get her to focus on her mama to get a great photo.
At 18 months Emry has quite the vocabulary. She is learning more words each day and it is hard to even keep track of all the new words she has learned. She loves to play with her stroller, purse, and phone. She hates it when her doll isn't just right in her stroller and she wants mom to help her get the baby just right. She loves to color and wants to color on receipts we have lying around. She still loves to dance and has learned popcorn popping and head, shoulders, knees, and toes. She is very friendly and wants everyone in the store to say hi to her. She keeps saying hi until the person we are passing responds back. She has become a great sleeper over the last couple of months and sleeps fully through the night. Now the trick is getting rid of the binky. Any ideas? We love our little girl and are so glad she has such a fun personality.

She is so cute! I didn't realize how close in age she is to my little guy. We should try to get together sometime. It's been so long!

Very cute pics. When I decided to get rid of Shelby's binky I cut just a little off the top and then every 4 or 5 days I cut a little more. It got to where she couldn't suck on it and then she just held it for a few days and then she was done with it. But when the binkie went so did the naps. It took about 2 weeks but I had no crying baby. I am getting ready to do this with Preston next week. Thought I better wait until we get back from vacation this weekend. Good luck
