8 Months & a couple other things

Asher turned 8 months on October 2. He has changed so much in the last month. He got real sick in the middle of September for about 5 days running high fevers off and on. We never could figure out what it was. The doctor figures it was just some type of virus. He started doing patty cake the first part of September, but has since forgotten or just doesn't want to do it any more. He had a major milestone and started crawling (or scooting) on the 14th and perfected it by the following Friday. He is so much more happy now he can get to the things he wants to play with. He loves balls, trucks or things with wheels, and toys that make noise. You can totally tell he is a boy and we need to get more boy toys in our house. He loves real food and wants to feed himself, which at times can be hard to come up with different finger foods. (any suggestions?) He loves all types of fruit and just tried Kiwi this month and loved it. He has also tried chicken, beef, avocado, cucumbers, and graham crackers. He got his third tooth finally on the 24th. It took 3 weeks to come through and he was one grumpy bear when it was trying to come. He loves the tubby. If he is fussy we know if we get him in the tubby he will be one happy boy.

Em is full of life and cracks us up more and more each day. She has started using big words off and on and we just love it. She told us the other day that things were just fabulous. She always says "well actually". She has been begging daddy to take her hunting and last night she went with. It was a perfect night to go because her cousin Branson got a deer and she got to see it all. Cade said she loved it. I think we have a little hunting girl on our hands, which will make daddy happy. She loves to sing and dance and we now have a nightly concert at our house. We love our spunky 3 year old.

Another exciting thing happened this past month, we finally sold our home. We couldn't be more excited about moving and getting closer to Cade's office. We have started packing a couple boxes a day, I figure that would be less stressful and give me time to go through things. We have to be moved out by the end of the month. Life has been ever changing lately, but some times in life change is great. Which right now it is.

Congrats on selling. What a relief I'm sure.
