Asher Update

Asher is almost 2 months old. He is such a good baby. He has started sleeping about 6 to 7 hours a night and then goes another 3 to 4. It is so nice. I remember nights with Emry hoping she would just sleep at least 4 hours.

Asher started smiling on March 13. We were visiting Great Grandpa Udy and Grandpa started talking to him and Ash lit right up. I told grandpa he must really like him because that was his first big smile. He has also started finding his voice and has started cooing. He loves it when we talk to him and let him know we are there. He doesn't cry much but when he does he either wants you to sit him down and be left alone or he is ready for his nap. He has started playing with his toys that hang over his head when he is laying down.

On March 4 we gave him a name and a blessing. He was such a handsome little boy and did so well during the blessing. We had lots of people there for his special day. The men who stood in the circle were: Daddy, Grandpa Rick, Grandpa Jack, Uncle Rod, Uncle James, Uncle Newlin, Uncle Chris, Cornell, and Uncle Wayne. 

On March 15 we went to St. George for the weekend to visit Grandma Paula and Grandpa Jed. Asher and Emry both did well in the car. We pit stopped at Cornell and Carrie's on the way down and on the way home we stopped and Jason and Brittani's. The weather wasn't the best but Emry had a fun time and was able to spend a little time outside and swim in Grandma's pool.

 This is Emry in St. George it was nice and sunny one day only and all she wanted to do was play in the car. Crazy!
